THE DEPARTED In the sudden death of Bert Krueger, aged 18, at the home of his parents, 147 Waterloo st., last evening, Kitchener, loses a well beloved young man. Mr. Krueger was well and about his work a few days previous to his [and (sad?)] demise. Besides his sorrowing parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Krueger, he is survived by three brothers and four sisters, all of whom are younger than he. The funeral will take place from the residence on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Violet and Frank had a son Frederick David Ernst on November 19, 1934. Fred married Dorothy Evans and died at only 35 years of age, on September 28, 1969.

Born Dec. 21, 1904, in Kitchener, she was the former Violet Krueger, a daughter of Otto C. Krueger, of Kitchener and the late Lavina Linder, who predeceased her in 1961.
She was a member of Highland Road United Church and was employed at Cluett-Peabody Limited for the past nine years.
Surviving besides her father are a son, Frederick D. of Kitchener; two brothers, Irvin L. Krueger and Homer L. Krueger, both of Kitchener, three sisters, Mrs. Grafton (Myrtle) Wright of London, Ont, Mrs. Doris Murphy and Mrs. Reginald (Olive) Amy, both of Kitchener, and three grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers Carl and Wilbert.
The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after noon on Sunday. The service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. A.E. Holley will officiate. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Association will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.

Born in Kitchener, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto C. Krueger, he was an employee of Cluett-Peabody and Company of Canada Ltd. He was formerly employed with J.E. Weigand and Company Ltd.
His marriage to Annette Misere took place in Kitchener in 1940.
Mr. Krueger was a member of St. Mary's RC Church and the Holy Name Society.

Olive Mary Blanche Krueger was born on July 9, 1920, the eighth and last child of Lavina Linder and Otto Krueger.Reginald Edward Amy was the second child of Oliver Amy and Lillian (Lillie) Marth, born in Elmira on May 5, 1917. Reg and two brothers enlisted in WWII and he saw service in England, France and Belgium where he was wounded. The couple were wed on September 7, 1946. Olive and Reg have one son, John, who married and they have two children.

Olive Amy died at age 85 on Friday April 21, 2006. Her obituary appeared in the K-W Record on Monday April 23, 2006, page B8:
